Risman

I turn messy operational data into numbers people can trust.

Computer Science graduate from University of the People with nine years in telecom infrastructure at Nokia Indonesia. I've spent my career reconciling project, acceptance and revenue data across teams. Now I'm looking for my first role in tech, in data analysis or software.

About

For nine years I worked in telecom infrastructure, most of it in project control and revenue forecasting at Nokia Indonesia, where I now lead project control. Progress reports, acceptance tests, bills of quantities and revenue forecasts came from different teams, and my job was to make them agree and explain the gaps.

In 2026 I completed an Associate of Science in Computer Science at University of the People, and I'm continuing into the bachelor's program. Python, SQL, databases and statistics gave me proper tools for work I used to do by hand in spreadsheets. I'm now also studying AI and machine learning, including through GCI World at the University of Tokyo.

I'm looking for a role where careful handling of real, messy data matters: data analyst, junior data or analytics engineer, or junior software developer.

Selected work

Data problems I've solved on the job

Each of these was a data problem before it was a business result: different sources, inconsistent records, and a number someone needed to rely on.

Data Tracking 2021–2024

Penalty Exposure Tracking

Nokia Indonesia · Lintasarta & IOH

Set up structured issue tracking and an escalation path for delays before they reached penalty clauses. Potential contract penalties fell from IDR 11 billion to IDR 800 million.

Project Controller

Forecasting 2021–2024

Milestone Revenue Forecast

Nokia Indonesia

Forecast revenue against provisional and final acceptance milestones (PAC/FAC), and closed the gap between completed acceptance tests and what could actually be billed.

Project Controller

Reporting 2021–2024

Progress & Revenue Reporting

Nokia Indonesia

Built and reconciled daily, bi-weekly and monthly reports for Nokia management and the customer, then walked engineering and the shared service center through results and corrective actions.

Project Controller

Data Validation 2025–Now

BoQ Validation for DWDM

Nokia Indonesia · Lintasarta

Check bill-of-quantities line items against the network plan for optical transport projects before they reach commercial review, so errors get caught early.

Project Controller Lead

Reconciliation 2019–2021

Material & Inventory Reconciliation

Nexwave Technologies

Reconciled installed, integrated and dismantled material against Nokia's plan so inventory and billing matched, and tracked acceptance documents against revenue targets.

Project Controller

Root-Cause Analysis 2017–2019

Network KPI Analysis

Nexwave Technologies

Analyzed network KPI reports and drive-test logs to find the causes of dropped calls, then tuned antenna tilt, azimuth and neighbor lists to fix customer complaints.
